Life Story for Charles Andrew "Chuck" Carlson
Charles "Chuck" Carlson, 81 of Delavan died at Elgin, Il where he went to be close to his daughter as his health failed. Chuck was born March 19, 1936 om Chicago, IL the son of Harry Carlson and Catherine Clark. He married Carolyn Phillips Feb. 14, 2001 at St. John's in the Wilderness Episcopal Church in Elkhorn. Chuck was active in Boy Scouts of America and currently a faithful member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Churplayed string base for
25 years as a accomplish musician. In Chicago area he was a truck mechanic. More recently chuck was active in the model train show and was a builder of fine bird houses. He is survived by 2 daughters, Caryn (keith) Maychszak of Oakwood Hills, IL and Catherine (Ron) Johnson of Brandenton, Florida. 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn. Funeral services are 11am. Saturday, Jan. 27th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Betzer Funeral Home of Delavan is serving the family. . . .
