Butch was born on January 3, 1948 to Elmer Schutt and Dorothy Schutt and was lovingly raised by his Grandparents, Daniel and Margaret Bollinger. He graduated from Big Foot High School(class of ’66) in Walworth, WI, and married his high school sweetheart Linda.
Butch loved to tell stories of the many Harley Davidson motorcycles he owned throughout his life starting when he was only 15. He also had many stories about his childhood on the family farm in Sharon, WI. Like the time he came home late from a night with his friends and was trying to sneak to bed only to meet Dan on his way to do the morning milking. Dan wasn’t fooled but only said “You’re up early. The cows will like that you got dressed up for them.” or how he would sneak his car in line when the farm fuel tanks were being refilled so he wouldn’t have to pay for a tank of gas.
Butch always suspected Dan knew but nothing was ever said.
Butch is survived by his wife, Linda (Knull), son Daniel, Whitewater, son Robert(Allison), Delafield, granddaughter Kendon, Oshkosh, grandsons Tanner (Delafield), Devin (Delafield), as well as his half-sisters Diane Oswald and Kristine Miller, brothers-in-law Ronald Knull(Donna), Walworth, John Knull, Walworth, and sister-in-law Ruth Taylor, Delavan.
